Volunteering

Our volunteers are at the heart of nearly everything that happens in the museum. This includes: Preparing and maintaining exhibits (and you don’t have to be a technician!) so that our visitors gain maximum pleasure from what they see; helping to organise internal and external special events; and perhaps assisting with data and photographs in our Archive Department. Our volunteers enjoy the important work that they do.  So, come and join us !

Membership

Membership frequently produces friendships, with other members and with museum staff too! Ideal for families, couples, and individuals alike, it brings great savings over normal entry charges. A single Membership Joining Fee allows as many visits a year as you wish. Twelve month membership fees are as follows:

Adult: £40
Family: £70 (2 x Adults and up to 3 children)
